Today was kinda horrible.. We are broke, in-between paychecks, so we are having our Valentine's Day on Friday instead. Thank God we had already decided this before the day started, or it would have been such a disappointment! First thing this morning, Joe went out for a Starbucks. I had saved back a few dollars as a little surprise so he could have coffee for Valentine's morning. Well, he got the coffee - and then spilled the whole thing once he got home. Boo! Then the mail came and I was SO EXCITED my new hoodie had finally arrived. It was soft and perfect, but smelled a little "manufactured," so I threw it in the wash (following the instructions on the tag!). Took it out to hang it to dry and half the graphic on the front had washed off. Boo again! Then I had a dentist appointment. The good news there is I was VERY pleased with the dentist (young and kind) and the office itself (modern, with TVs mounted on the ceiling so you can watch while they work). Bad news is I had a tooth extracted. Triple boo! Throw in some soggy enchiritos (we're out of paper towels), my indigestion, and headaches for each of us and the majority of today was a comedy of errors.. But I roasted some chicken breasts for dinner and they turned out perfect. An evening of TV, Sims Social, and MW3 should be enough to ease us out of this awful day.
Now I'm really looking forward to Friday!
